Job Overview:

Responsibilities and Duties:
To provide an outstanding and consistent level of service to customers on enquiries, order placement / progression and liaise internally to ensure successful delivery.

GM Machinery Ltd are a growing, well-established family-run business which operates from a 2 acre modern facility in Oldham, Greater Manchester.
We currently have a vacancy for an In house CNC Service Engineer.
You will be part of an expanding team and benefits will include a salary commensurate with experience and offer a company vehicle, overtime, mobile phone, laptop, annual leave, and private pension.
Responsibilities for the role include:
- Repair and routine maintenance on CNC and Conventional Machine Tools at our warehouse in Greater Manchester
- The set up and commissioning of incoming stock
- Ordering of spares required from our parts department
- Answering customer technical queries on machines
- Occasional field work within the Northwest of England
Essential Requirements:
- Experience working within a similar role
- First class knowledge of CNC Systems including Fanuc, Heidenhain and Siemens Controls
- Relevant mechanical/electrical qualifications
- Knowledge of installations, fault finding, electrical and/or mechanical repairs.
- Full, clean UK driving license

We currently have a vacancy for a Business Administration Apprentice who will be required to assist in the day-to-day running of our offices.
Duties will include:
Management and distribution of incoming and outgoing post
Greeting and signing in all external visitors
Answering inbound telephone calls and directing calls to the relevant person
